Mr. Solis primarily practices civil litigation with over 20 years of experience with cases involving insurance disputes between policyholders and insurance companies. He has settled well over 3,000 insurance coverage dispute lawsuits over the years, representing both insurance companies and individuals/business owners. Further, he has extensive experience defending and prosecuting negligence, construction defect and tort actions in state and federal courts throughout Texas. Mr. Solis was a partner at an insurance defense litigation firm before deciding to start his own practice in 2008.
Mr. Solis speaks fluent Spanish and is able to assist counsel in communicating litigation risks with Spanish-speaking clientele.
Mr. Solis is “AV- Rated” (highest rating for ethics and legal ability) by Martindale-Hubbell. He received this prominent rating in 2009 and it has continued since then. He was also recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer Rising Star and by Scene in S.A. Magazine as a top attorney in “Insurance Litigation.” He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Solis is available to travel throughout Texas, including McAllen, Edinburg, Harlingen, Brownsville, Laredo, Victoria, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
Mediation fees are charged based on a fixed fee per party for each day of mediation and are payable in advance. A full-day mediation usually begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends around 5:30 p.m.
Mr. Solis charges $400.00 per party for a half-day mediation and $800.00 per party for a full-day mediation. All parties represented by the same attorney are considered one party for the purposes of the mediation fee; otherwise, each party will be charged a separate fee.
